This site has a comprehensive list of URLs to software providers, many of whom offer completely free products. Medix has evaluated most of these. Two seem particularly good:
- KyPlot is a complete statistical, graphics and data processing package. It has CSV/Excel import and a straightforward, easy to use interface. Those familiar with Excel should find KyPlot immediately useful.
- R is a less immediately accessible package but is one of almost unbelievable scope. R is a full programming/scripting language with a comprehensive range of graphing, statistical and data processing facilities. There are interfaces to other programming languages (eg, C++, Python) and a large user/contributor group.
