Each time you login at our website you give your GMC number and password. Software checks your registration details with the profiles of available questionnaires. If your details match a questionnaire, you are presented with options to do the highest priority questionnaire, do it later or refuse to do it. If you refuse, you are excused from that questionnaire. If you wish to do the questionnaire later, you pass to the main Medix site but the next time you login, you will be given the three options again.

If you agree to do the questionnaire, it is presented to you. To authenticate your identity, you are asked again for your password. When you submit the completed questionnaire, the results are stored on a secure database with other members' responses and later transferred to another computer for analysis. Personal details are never revealed without your explicit consent and for every individual instance (e.g., if you wish details about products to be sent to you, you would have to consent each time).

Every time you log in to our website, the software runs this check. You can only answer one questionnaire each time you login. When you have completed all available questionnaires matching your profile, you are no longer presented with the options. At the end of each awards programme cycle, your responses are evaluated for your inclusion in the Medix Awards list and accumulation for Medix Points. Many Medix members have asked if we need their email address to send them questionnaires. Medix does not need your email address, although if you give it, you will have about a 90% better chance of getting questionnaires because you can be alerted.
